In Northern Dalmatia, about 40 km from Zadar, at foot of the Natural Park Velebit, the Croatian mountain - protected by UNESCO, there is a camp "PINUS". In the shape of terrasse, it is situated directly on the seaside, in the natural and ecological perfectly clean Mediterranean environment. Ennobled with pines, olives, and other original Mediterranean plants, it invites to, in the azure, natural clean sea, sunbathing, swimming, scuba-diving, windsurfing, fishing, sailing, or simply to relaxation. The camp capacity is about 40 places, and it owns, among the other things, very modern toillet facilities with warm water.The camp exists since 1987. and it has got many praises from the visitors because of the services of very good quality.Its geographical location offers to guests unusual possibilities of visits to near National Parks: Paklenica, Kornati, Krka, and Plitvice Lakes, as well as towns like Zadar, Nin, Biograd n/m, Šibenik, and their surroundings with very rich and three thousand years old cultural and historical heritage.
The speciality of the camp "PINUS" is its closeness to the Natural Park Velebit and world famous canyon of the National Park Paklenica where the visitors can walk through nature, mountaineering, or rock climbing.
Near of the camp, there are many grocer`s shops, restaurants, cafés, bank, post-office. The camp "PINUS" is recommended to everyone who prefer small camps, natural ambience, peace, cleaness, hygiene, and our hospitality.
