New aircrafts for Croatia Airlines delivered
The first Dash 8-Q400 out of a total of four such planes commissioned by Croatia Airlines from Canada’s Bombardier Aerospace landed at Split airport on Monday.
Dash 8-Q400 aircraft will replace the existing fleet of short-range planes of the Croatian air carrier.

Flights to Pula from European Airports

Jadrolinija increased ferry prices
Due to the global rise of oil prices, the Jadrolinija ferry company on Friday announced an average increase of 9% for all fares on its lines.
The increase has already been approved by the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure.

Rijeka 7th Semi Marathon
More than 3000 people took part in the 7th semi-marathon that was organised in Rijeka on Sunday, a traditional run that includes young participants, those with physical challenges, as well as professional marathon runners.
The proceeds of this year’s event will go towards funding young athletes.

According to the USTOA, the association of the American tour operators, Croatia has been proclaimed the top tourist destination in 2008.

Cheap flights from Krakow to Dubrovnik
Centralwings, a low-cost offshoot of the Polish state airline, LOT, established in 2004, is beginning to fly from Krakow (Poland) to Dubrovnik on 10 June 2008.
Between 10th of June and 28th of September, the flights from Krakow to Dubrovnik wil depart every Tuesday at 9.45 am arriving at Dubrovnik Airport at 11.15am.
